Guilt and Condemnation Bible Verses
I am blameless before God;
I have kept myself from sin.
Have mercy on me, O God,
because of your unfailing love.
Because of your great compassion,
blot out the stain of my sins.
Wash me clean from my guilt.
Purify me from my sin.
Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
Oh, give me back my joy again;
you have broken me—
now let me rejoice.
Don’t keep looking at my sins.
Remove the stain of my guilt.
But he was pierced for our rebellion,
crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed.
So now there is no condemnation for those who
belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him,
the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from
the power of sin that leads to death.
And Christ lives within you, so even though your
body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life
because you have been made right with God.
Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for
his own? No one—for God himself has given us
right standing with himself. Who then will
condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and
was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place
of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.
2 Corinthians 5:21
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the
offering for our sin, so that we could be made right
with God through Christ.
The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the
very character of God, and he sustains everything by
the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed
us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the
right hand of the majestic God in heaven.
let us go right into the presence of God with sincere
hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences
have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean,
and our bodies have been washed with pure water.
Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope
we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
1 John 3:18-20
Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each
other; let us show the truth by our actions.
Our actions will show that we belong to the truth,
so we will be confident when we stand before God.
Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our
feelings, and he knows everything.
