Look at the proud!
They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked.
But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.
Matthew 17:20
“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them.
“I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small
as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain,
‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move.
Nothing would be impossible.”
Mark 11:23
I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain,
‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’
and it will happen. But you must really believe it
will happen and have no doubt in your heart.

So we are made right with God through
faith and not by obeying the law.

Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this
place of undeserved privilege where we now stand,
and we confidently and joyfully look
forward to sharing God’s glory.

hearing the Good News about Christ.
Romans 14:23

no longer need the law as our guardian.
Ephesians 3:12

called you, which you have declared so
well before many witnesses.
Hebrews 10:22-23
let us go right into the presence of God with
sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty

to make us clean, and our bodies have been
washed with pure water.
Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope
we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
Hebrews 11:1-3
Faith shows the reality of what we hope for;
it is the evidence of things we cannot see.
Through their faith, the people in days of old
earned a good reputation. By faith we understand
that the entire universe was formed at God’s command,
that what we now see did not come
from anything that can be seen.
Hebrews 11:6
And it is impossible to please God without faith.
Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that
God exists and that he rewards those
who sincerely seek him.
