American freedom entails Americans daily chasing a dream, given by our Creator in heaven.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,–That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness”. Our Creator has given both you and I unalienable right: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. From the principles of the Bible, I decided to write about this, from the perspective of God, using the truths from the Bible to base the claims:
You are my creation. You are an exalted individual, as I have given you life. Flesh and blood, with a soul. With the liberty to choose freely, I have given you a mind to pursue happiness, your way. There is no freedom without liberty and free will. Liberty and free will both require responsibility, though. You must choose wisely or you will die. I know this sounds harsh, I could control every action, every consequence that happens to you, but there is no freedom, without free will. There is no joy in being a person who cannot choose their own paths. Be careful. Follow my wisdom and I will guide you. Choose freedom and my ways and you will live. I have given you the Ten Commandments, they will guide you toward success if you follow it. I want humanity to rule over everything on Earth, but not over Me. “I will instruct and guide thee in the way that thou shall go. I will guide you with thine eye”.
I want a relationship with you. Will you have a relationship with me? I want to love you beyond what you can imagine. I want to help you in all your troubles. I want to be the Father that will never let go of you. But you must choose me. I cannot force myself upon you.
Read my Bible and I will communicate with you. Communicate to me through prayer and I will help you. Don’t be afraid or discouraged for I will never leave nor forsake you. I will be your Shepherd. Only responsibility of yours is to make sound decisions.
That is the secret of success.
You will be judged for your acts. I don’t want you to sin, but I know you will. “The wages of sin is death.” I don’t want you to die – so my perfect Son died for you and will take the place of your death if you believe and accept that gift. But you must trust in me and believe in the way. You must ask forgiveness for your mistakes and desire to do right. You won’t be perfect, but I will help you. If you accept salvation, you will be adopted into my family. Nothing will ever separate me from my love to you. I will help you and strengthen you every day. We will have a relationship together. But if you reject me, you will experience hell after your life is over. I truly don’t want to do this, but when you commit a crime there is a punishment to pay. I wouldn’t be a just God if I let it slide! That is why I had my perfect Son crucified on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins.
Because of the consequences of sin, the world you live in will be full of troubles. Don’t make living conditions worse by indulging in sin. If you choose to accept Christ, though, I will never leave you or forsake you. I will never fail you. I will be your Shepherd. I will take care of you. I promise. However, you must seek My help and trust Me. I gave you free will. I cannot force myself upon you. You must want me.
I have plans for you. The more you follow me, the more you will be rewarded in Heaven. I will give you a new life, and I will give you a perfect route toward your pursuit of happiness, but I cannot force my life on you. I gave you liberty to pursue your happiness, but remember this, if you don’t make the right choice, your life would be lacking in true happiness. If you accept my purpose, I will guide and empower you daily to do it. There is nothing you won’t be able to do through My power.
Follow your desires of your sinful heart and it will lead to negative consequences and less freedom. If you let me control your desires, I will give you power not to sin. If you don’t, your desires will consume and its consequences will hurt your freedom a bit, depending upon the severity of the action. But I will always love you, I will often discipline you, to keep you on the right path, like a loving parent. But I cannot control your path. You are born with unalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Please choose wisely!
